Z was spawned in early fall of 2010, following the dissolution of the Chicago-based Britpop band Ultra Sonic
Edukators.
What followed was a two and a half year period with thousands of edits, reworks and track changes. The result, the album Spacesick, a mass of diluted pop songs, pressed against an organic and soulful recording.
